Court-Requested Capacity Assessment for Decision-Making Representative (DMR) * Conventional Consult
When a Decision-Making Representative Order is being sought, the Circuit Court may require a formal capacity assessment of the person (the "Relevant Person") whose decision-making ability is in question. This is the most intensive level of support under the Act, used only when the person lacks capacity even with help.
